Requirements to Receive CEU’s
Thomas Safety Solutions, Inc. (TSSI) is a nationally recognized full
service provider of professional occupational safety and health
management and consulting services, which includes a full line of
occupational safety and health education and training.
TSSI complies with the ANSI Standard for Continuing Education
and Training which is recognized internationally as a standard of
good practice. TSSI can
offer Continuing Education Certificates (CEUs) for anyone who
successfully completes a qualifying professional development
training seminar. A
qualifying professional development training seminar is considered
to be any seminar that has a minimum of 10 contact hours.
The primary purpose of the CEU is to provide a permanent record of
the educational and training accomplishments of an individual who
has completed one or more significant non-credit continuing
education experiences.
Requirements for successful completion include:
All participants who attend a TSSI professional development training
program must attend at least 95% of all classroom sessions*,
complete all assignments, participate in all learning activities,
score at least 75% on all exams, and complete a post-program
evaluation. For seminars
that offer CEUs, a post program application will be provided with
instructions on how to complete the CEU process and receive your
certificate.
* Note:
This requirement
does not apply to the OSHA 10 or 30-Hour training programs.
These programs require 100% participation of all classroom
sessions.
