On-Site Safety Professional

Thomas Safety Solutions, Inc.’s On-Site Safety Professional Placement Program is a unique arrangement to provide our clients with qualified and experienced workplace safety professionals to staff and manage the day-to-day safety and health activities of your project, or to supplement your team when additional safety support and representation is needed on a contract basis.  TSSI provides onsite safety evaluation of your existing Safety Programs, and then will submit recommendations according to site requirements to meet the safety needs of the contract.

Inc.’s On-Site Safety Management Consultants provide you with an expert resource to assure your company’s compliance with federal, state and local regulations, and more importantly, to protect your employees.  Our On-Site Safety Management Consultant will plan, implement, coordinate and supervise the site-specific safety program in accordance with your corporate policies and procedures.  He will act with authority of the most senior manager on site with regards to safety matters.  TSSI's On-Site Safety Management Consultant will detect hazards and potential hazards in the field, determine potential corrective action solutions, and work with personnel to ensure timely action is taken to abate hazards.  He will control hazardous working conditions and unsafe employee activities through safety management processes (disciplinary action program, if needed).  He will conduct timely and relevant safety meetings.  Our On-Site Safety Management Consultant will accompany all compliance inspectors (EPA, OSHA, Insurance, etc.) on walk-through tours of the project. He will complete and maintain all recordkeeping and documentation of all activities conducted to ensure a safe and healthful workplace including daily inspections, orientations, logs, JHA’s, training, meetings, disciplinary actions, accident and near miss investigations, and then will assure the proper filing of documents.

Safety Audits

Thomas Safety Solutions, Inc. has developed a series of safety and health training seminars, beginning with "What Every Supervisor Must Know about OSHA", and a "Workplace Safety and Health Seminar" dealing with machine guarding, walk/work surfaces, exits and exit routes, electrical, materials handling, fall protection, scaffolds, excavation, rigging and many more, that focus its attention on meeting your specific needs and what we can do to satisfy them through the different training courses we offer.  TSSI's seminars satisfy State requirements and comply with OSHA and MSHA Standards.  These workplace safety training programs can be customized and conducted at your location.  Each seminar participant receives a Certificate of Completion as well as a wallet card for every seminar they  successfully complete.  Employers receive a copy of the seminar records, signed attendance rosters, copies of Completion Certificates and wallet cards.
